How to Meet Madonna

Each year about 1.2 million people die on the world’s roads. From this total,  20% of traffic deaths are caused by drunk driving. It means that 240.000 people die because of irresponsibility of drunk drivers. This is more than the deaths with Tsunamis or any recent natural disaster,  and who is causing it is a human being.

In the United States the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates that 17, 941 people died in 2006 in alcohol-related collisions,  representing 40% of total traffic deaths in the US. NHTSA states 275, 000 were injured in alcohol-related accidents in 2003 (see more here).

If I won’t meet Madonna,  at least I have showed the people how bad it can be to drink and to drive. I won’t be hypocrite talking about Alcohol and its effects,  although I don’t drink it at all – my friends are proof of that (twice per year, I can drink it, but I don’t like it :P).

But once again,  if you are going to drink,  think about who you love or think about your life. If you don’t care about your life,  care about other people’s life’s.

In the end, this paradise is not for me…
